Class of 2013: When is Commencement for West Des Moines Valley, Dowling?

Another school year has come and gone, and the time is here to wish a new class of graduates good luck as their high school years come to an end.

Valley High School will hold its commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 26, while Dowling will hold its graduation exercises on Friday, May 24.

Here's what you need to know for both:

VALLEY

When: May 26, 1 p.m.

Where: Drake University's Knapp Center, 2601 Forest Ave., Des Moines.

Parking: Ample free parking is available around campus, but you might want to arrive early if you want to avoid walking long distances.

Also, if you have a senior graduation, a mandatory rehearsal will be held May 23 at the Knapp Center. It starts at 10 a.m.

DOWLING

When: May 24, 7:30 p.m.

Where: Drake University's Knapp Center, 2601 Forest Ave., Des Moines.

Also, Baccalaureate Mass will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, at St. Francis.
