Corporate Support for West Des Moines Business Incubator Helps Start-Ups
Supported by business and government, the business incubator is sheltering 10 start-up companies.

recently gave $5,000 to the West Des Moines Business Incubator, which has been sheltering West Des Moines start-up businesses since 2009.
Located at 2829 Westown Pkwy., Suite 220, the Business Incubator was created to foster a climate for entrepreneurial activity and assist small business growth. The Iowa Small Business Development Center provides assistance to tenants at no additional cost to them.

Symbiotic Advantage – This website builds traffic and interests in local businesses and events by featuring them on ad pages and giving away controlled free stuff.
Current Wind – This company sells, installs, and services medium-sized wind turbines, ranging in size from 5kW to 100kW with the capability to install larger turbines, currently with a focus on rural businesses, including agriculture.
Source Trivia – This company provides a computer application and database that combines music and trivia for hosted events for clients such as DJs, event planners, party hosts.
