Crossroads Park Elementary to Celebrate Renovations with Open House
The West Des Moines elementary school was closed last school year for renovations. The public can check out the refurbished school at an open house Sunday.

The public is invited to an open house and dedication ceremony at the newly renovated from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 16.
Friends, families and community members are welcome to attend.

The ceremony will begin in the school gym with speakers from Crossroads Park, the West Des Moines Community Schools and the community. Students will provide entertainment and give tours after the ceremony. Refreshments will be served.
After school let out in 2009, RDG Construction began remodeling and expanding Crossroads Park. Staff and students moved into Clegg Park Elementary for the 2010-11 school year. The fully remodeled Crossroads Park reopened its doors Aug. 24, 2011, to 560 students and 70 teachers.
