DART Adds Bus Routes from West Des Moines During NCAA Wrestling Tourney
Spectators staying in West Des Moines hotels can catch buses at two convenient spots.

A news release forom Des Moines Area Regonal Transit Authority:
Spectators can ride the bus and avoid the hassle of driving in downtown Des Moines during the NCAA Wrestling Tournament this weekend.. The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) is adding service on that Thursday, Friday and Saturday to ease travel for the 20,000 expected visitors:
Crosstown Route 52 (6 a.m. to midnight, $1.75 per ride) – Spectators staying in the 14 hotels clustered around Valley West Mall and the Jordan Creek Town Center can catch a bus at either location to travel to downtown Des Moines. Buses depart in both directions as often as every 10 minutes. Travel times are about 28 minutes from Jordan Creek, 12 minutes from Valley West. Park & Rides are at Valley West and Lutheran Church of Hope.
D-Line Downtown Shuttle (6:30 a.m. to midnight, free to ride) – Guests can get around downtown Des Moines with the D-Line Downtown Shuttle. Buses pick up every 10 minutes. The shuttle route intersects with the “fan shuttle” operating between Principle Park and Wells Fargo Arena.
