We are very fortunate that, here in Central Iowa, we have many fine organizations that make environmentally sustainable practices a priority. To recognize their efforts and identify the positive impact they have made on our communities, the Environmental Impact Awards were established.
Partnership Makes the Environmental Impact Awards Possible
Metro Waste Authority has joined with the Greater Des Moines Partnership, Center on Sustainable Communities (COSC), Des Moines Water Works and MidAmerican Energy to recognize local organizations and leaders dedicated to sustainability in the Greater Des Moines area. If you know, or are associated with an organization that should be recognized for their eco-efficiency, please consider submitting an award application.
