Does Your Child Love to Make a Mess?

Let your child explore clay on the potter's wheel or hand-building in our fun, challenging and messy pottery classes!

The Ankeny Art Center’s well-established clay department offers exciting classes for children. Elementary school students in 5-8th Grade can learn how to use the pottery wheel with instruction from our experienced teachers. Younger children in K-4th Grade can get their hands dirty by pushing, pinching, rolling, squishing and all-out simply playing with the clay. Both classes are 4 weeks.
