Dowling Catholic Faces Big Test Against Ankeny
The second- and third-ranked teams face off at Valley Stadium.
No. 3 hosts the No. 2 Ankeny Hawks at in the game to watch Friday night.
Last week, the Dowling Maroons toppled then No. 1 , ending the Tigers’ 16-game winning streak. Valley slipped to No. 6 n the rankings.
Both Dowling and Ankeny are undefeated. Dowling is 3-0 and Ankeny is 2-0.
Valley, 2-1 for the season, is on the road and faces Southeast Polk, which has a 1-1 record.
Kickoff for both games is at 7:30 p.m.
