Dowling Catholic upended the previously undefeated Ankeny Hawks 28-16 Friday. As a bonus to the win: It was homecoming for the Maroons.
The Dowling Catholic Maroons triumphed Friday with a homecoming win over Ankeny. The game was played at Drake University's stadium. The loss is the first of the season for the Hawks. Next up for Dowling is Johnston at 7:30 p.m. this Friday at Drake's stadium.
