Driver With Road Rage ‘Spitting’ Mad
West Des Moines police have the license plate number of enraged driver's vehicle.

A 40-year-old West Des Moines woman reported to police that a man she had accidentally cut off in traffic followed her until she had to stop at a traffic light, then hurled profanities and spit all over her.
The woman told Officer Ben Woods last week that the other motorist followed her for quite a distance as she was leaving her job at Merle Hay Mall in Urbandale. When she stopped in traffic at 22nd Street and Kingman Drive in West Des Moines, he jumped from his vehicle, then slammed his hand down on the hood of her car.
Is there an international gesture of apology motorists can make to let others know they’re sorry for a mistake made in traffic, as if to say “no harm, no foul?” Tell us in comments.
According to Woods’ report, “he proceeded to yell and scream profanities at her, saying she cut him off. He finally spit inside the car and all over her before he got back in his vehicle and left.”
