Embracing Dyslexia - Movie Night and Panel Discussion
Educational event for people effected by dyslexia. The event will take place in Des Moines, Iowa. Sponsored by Decoding Dyslexia Iowa.

Embracing Dyslexia is a thoughtful and moving exploration of dyslexia from an insider’s perspective, weaving together interviews with parents, adult dyslexics, researchers, educators and experts to provide an accurate portrayal of a learning difference that affects 20% of the population.
The panel discussion will include Decoding Dylsexia Iowa members, parents of dyslexic students, educators and a repsentative from ASK Resource Center. Everyone is invited to attend including parents of struggling readers and dyslexics, classroom teachers, reading specialists, special education teachers, school administers and elected officials.
The movie night will be February 5th at 6:30 pm. We will be meeting at the Fred Maytag II Scout Center located at 6123 Scout Trail in Des Moines, Iowa.
