The Remembrance Run is a 5K run/walk honoring Iowa’s fallen service members. Following the 5K, there will be lunch from Jethro's BBQ and live music from Brother Trucker.
Registration is $25 until September 17, and $30 September 18-23 (with no T-shirt guaranteed). Kids 12 and under are free. The registration fee includes entry to the 5K, chip timing, medal, lunch and the concert following the 5K.
The Remembrance Run is the primary fundraiser for the non-profit Iowa Remembers, which helps to fund Iowa Remembers' Annual Retreat for Iowa families of fallen service members.
