Hoops for Hope event at Jimmy's on 8th Street will raise money for City of Hope Cancer Center.

Watching basketball might never feel this good again.
The 2013 NCAA National Championship Basketball Game will be broadcast live April 8 at Jimmy’s on 8th Street as part of Hoops for Hope, the City of Hope’s National Insurance Industry Council event to raise money for cancer research.

The City of Hope is one of 41 National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers nationwide and a founding member of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network. An independent biomedical research, treatment and education institution, City of Hope is a leader in the fight to conquer cancer, diabetes, HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening diseases.
Tickets for the West Des Moines Hoops for Hope event are $75 and includes food, drinks, a bottle of wine to take home. A charity auction will be held, with a preview of great items on the Hoops for Hope Facebook page.
