The new edition is now out with the 2015 winter outlook, and one specialist is coming to Urbandale to speak about the facts, fun and folklore of the famous book.
Bob Farmer, aka “Farmer Bob,” knows all about the Farmers’ Almanac, having studied and spoken about the book for nearly 40 years. On Wednesday, September 10, Bob spent the day at Deerfield Retirement Community educating older adults on the 2015 Farmer’s Almanac and what types of weather Iowans can expect in the upcoming year.
