Farmers Market/Music in the Junction Meeting Postponed
Annual meeting to hear successes, challenges of Valley Junction summertime event will be held Oct. 29.

A West Des Moines City Council advisory group meeting that was to have been held tonight to review the recently concluded 2012 season of the Farmers Market/Music in the Junction has been postponed to 4:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29.
The Community and Economic Development/Valley Junction Event Advisory Committee meeting was postponed because a council member is out of town, according to a news release.
At the meeting, the committee will hear reports on the overall success of the program, law enforcement issues and use of the shuttle/voucher program.
Scheduled to speak are Historic Valley Junction Foundation Executive Director Jim Miller, West Des Moines Police Lt. Travis Ouverson and Community and Economic Development Director Clyde Evans. Members of the public can also speak for up to five minutes each during the citizens forum.
The meeting will be held in the training room on the second floor of West Des Moines City Hall.
