The Freshman Football Team had another fantastic week with two big wins! They crushed Mason City last Thursday 41- 0: Aaron Fritz blocked a pass and had two sacks, Cooper Schwarz also had a key sack, and Wide Receiver Joseph Herold had two great catches. On Monday, they took down the Johnston Freshman with a score of 29- 0. It was a tackling frenzy out there: Angelo Harris had 7 tackles, Nick Esposito had 8 tackles, and Josh Couture had 5 tackles. Cole Coffin made his season debut with 8 tackles and an interception. Come out and support our Freshman Football Team at these upcoming games: this Thursday, Oct. 3rd vs. Ankeny Centennial at 6:00 at the Ankeny Stadium, and next Friday, Oct. 11 at Ottumwa at 5:00.
