Furry Friends' Annual Dog and Car Wash
In which we clean the four-legged and the four-wheeled alike!
Save yourself time and help save animals' lives at Furry Friends Refuge's annual dog and car wash!
Your pup will be spotless after our volunteers scrub them down on the front lawn of our West Des Moines shelter (1211 Grand Avenue, West Des Moines). So will your vehicle, thanks to generous supporter Damon and his spot-free washer!
Canine baths and vehicle cleanings are $15 each; add on a nail trim for $5 or a windshield treatment for $25.
Furry Friends Refuge has built Iowa's first and only no-kill communities in West Des Moines, Clive, and Urbandale, meaning more than 90 percent of animals leave the shelter alive. Visit us at 1211 Grand Ave. in West Des Moines, 1723 Grand Ave. in Des Moines, and at furryfriendsrefuge.org.
