Grow Your Own Food in West Des Moines
A limited number of community gardening plots will be offered.
A news release from the city of West Des Moines:
The City of West Des Moines Parks and Recreation Department will offer a limited number of community garden plots to West Des Moines residents for this up-coming summer.
Gardeners will be assigned a 10-foot-by-10-foot tilled garden space in Jordan Creek Park.

The cost to participate is $20 and you need to be registerd by April 1, 2013. Garden plots are limited and available on a first come, first serve basis.
