Have You Seen This Missing West Des Moines Dog?
Meke the blue healer was last seen at Red Robin restaurant in West Des Moines.
A local resident is asking for your help in locating a missing dog.
Two-year-old Meke (pronounced Mee-ka), a female blue healer, went missing Friday from the Red Robin parking lot, located on Mills Civic Parkway in West Des Moines. She was last seen around 1 p.m.
Meke is black with blue, grey, and brown hair colors mixed in. She has two brown eye brows, blue eyes, and has a gray strip on her forehead to her nose. She's also spayed with two scars on her stomach, and likes to ride in the bed of trucks.
West Des Moines Patch was also told Meke wasn't wearing a collar as she lost it when helping herd cattle a week ago.
Owners said a white Chevrolet truck with metal construction racks also was parked near the vehicle the dog was last seen in. They said it was possible someone might have taken the dog.
