Healthiest State Initiative Walkers
Walkers go one kilometer as part of one of Iowa's Healthiest State Initiative walks, held in West Des Moines, Iowa on October 8, 2014.
A group of walkers led by Katie Kruger, (right) registered dietitian at the Hy-Vee supermarket near Valley West Mall in West Des Moines, walk one kilometer at noon on October 8, 2014. The walk was one of many walks and events held in conjunction with the Healthiest State Initiative, whose goal is to make the state of Iowa the healthiest state in the nation by 2016.
