Volunteers are needed to help with My Angel Foundation’s 2014 C.A.R.E. 5K and 10K Run and Walk on Saturday, May 3rd, 2014 at Centennial Park in Waukee, Iowa. All volunteers will receive a free t-shirt on the day of the event and a lifetime of gratitude.
The C.A.R.E. 5K & 10K is a 10K run course and a 5K run and walk course designed to help promote organ, eye and tissue donation and highlight the success of transplantation. The run/walk draws participants such as transplant candidates, transplant recipients and family members, hospital personnel, donor family members and the general public. C.A.R.E. stands for Compassion for Awareness, Remembrance, and Education.
