Historic Valley Junction Announces 2013 Special Events, Music in the Junction Lineup

The Historic Valley Junction Foundation has announced the official 2013 calendar of events and Music in the Junction lineup. Both events are held Thursdays May 2-Oct. 3  (excluding July 4).

They are among 17 special events the Valley Junction Foundation is sponsoring this year. Still ahead on the calendar:

The beverage garden will be open in Railroad Park from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. All concerts are from 6 - 8:30 p.m. Concerts are free and held on the Railroad Park stage, located at the corner of Railroad Avenue and 5th Street, Valley Junction, West Des Moines.

The Historic Valley Junction Farmers Market is held each Thursday, in the 100, 200 and 300 blocks of Fifth Street in West Des Moines, from May 2 – October 3, 4-8 p.m.
