It’s Bikini Contest Season at Twin Peaks Restaurant

Twin Peaks will host a series of 34 bikini contests across the country, exclusively featuring the Twin Peaks Girls, according to a company news release.

The sports restaurant bills itself as offering crave-able and high quality comfort food, a selection of 29 degree draft beers served from a full-service bar, a lively patio, and the outgoing and beautiful Twin Peaks Girls. The hunting lodge atmosphere is punctuated by high-definition televisions.

Twin Peaks West Des Moines is located at 4570 University Ave., and will host its qualifying bikini contest at 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 8. 

The qualifying contests begin April 30 and end May 29 and will determine the contestants of the Third Annual National All-Star Bikini Contest in Denver June 12.

The first place winner at each restaurant will receive $1,000, second place $500 and third place $300. Guests can also vote for their favorite Twin Peaks Girl at each location, with the winner crowned “Miss Popular.” 

"Twin Peaks Bikini Season is one of our favorite times of the year," explains Kristen Jones Colby, the senior director of marketing, "It's a celebration of our beautiful Twin Peaks Girls who are talented, fun and hard-working. Our TPGs are the reason we are so successful."

Admission to the contest is $5 at the door and guests will receive a $5 voucher, redeemable on a visit to Twin Peaks during the month of June. Drink specials will be offered during the contest.
