Local Social Media Experts Offer Workshop at West Des Moines Business Incubator

One Social Media, a successful West Des Moines startup that helps its clients grow their businesses using social media platforms, will present a Facebook Marketing Strategies workshop Thursday at the West Des Moines Business Incubator.

The workshop is sponsored by the West Des Moines Business Incubator, Mid Iowa Small Business Development Center and the Corporation for Economic Development in Des Moines, according to a city of West Des Moines news release.

This training will include strategies to:

• Enable entrepreneurs and business owners to optimize their  Facebook page to help their business with its online presence and relationship building.
• Help entrepreneurs and business owners to use Facebook appropriately and use creative content to grow a loyal Facebook following.

Facebook Marketing Strategies will be held from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at the West Des Moines Business Incubator, 2829 Westown Parkway, Suite 220. The cost is $25. The West Des Moines Business Incubator began operation in November 2010. The Mid Iowa Small Business Development Center and its parent agency the Iowa Small Business Business Development Centers are part of an outreach program of Iowa State University’s College of Business.
