National Franchise buybuy BABY Opens in West Des Moines

National franchise store buybuy BABY opened its first Iowa store at 4100 University Ave. in the former Border’s Books location in West Des Moines Tuesday. The 25,000-square-foot superstore features merchandise for newborns to toddlers, including furniture, strollers, clothing, and much more.

The store is open from 9 a.m. to 9:30  p.m., Monday to Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.

buybuy BABY was founded in 1996 and acquired by Bed Bath & Beyond in 2007. The chain now operates more than 60 stores that range in size from 25,000 to 60,000 square feet. Based in Garden City, NY, it is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bed Bath & Beyond Inc.
