'No One Will Work Harder' Ann Romney Tells Iowans of Her Husband

No one will work harder to improve the economy than Mitt Romney, his wife said in a surburban Des Moines campaign stop.

“I know this guy pretty well. I’ve seen him in a lot of situations,” Ann Romney told a crowd at a rally held at By Design furniture store and design studio in Clive. “I trust him implicitly. I know he’s a good man,” she was quoted in a Des Moines Register story.

Romney said she was in Iowa to “talk about a good side of Mitt that very few people know about. Because people know he’s been a success in business and because of that he’s being criticized and attacked. And you know, it’s been hard for me as a wife.”

Mitt Romney's history “tells you as much as you really need to know,” said his wife in the Register story. “Because is that not the real measure of a person? It’s not how much money we make but how we live our lives,” she said.

Ann Romney told the crowd nobody will work harder than her husband for the millions of Americans who need help.

“And I can tell you that there will be no one who will work harder, that will try harder, that will do everything he can to bring better economic prosperity to those Americans that are suffering. He is worried about so many of those that are being disenfranchised, that are slipping into poverty, that are wondering where there next paycheck will come from and how they’re going to make ends me. He will not fail.”
