Now, Here are Some Walnut Creek Y Kids with Some Real Energy
Walnut Creek kids got to spend some time with Iowa Energy basketball stars. Check out the pictures.
Some of Walnut Creek's younger members got a chance recently to hone their skills with some special guest "coaches" -- players from Iowa Energy.
After practicing with the big guys, a lot of the not-so-big guys took the skills they learned during the course of the past eight weeks to play in a basketball tournament that combined teams from the Walnut Creek Y with teams from the Waukee and South Suburban branches.
That made for 42 teams, a lot of winners and no losers.
