Patch editors this week spotted signs for several businesses opening soon in Valley Junction.
Alexander's Photo, a fixture on Des Moines' Ingersoll Avenue for many years, is moving to 113 Fifth St. in West Des Moines.
The business' website says that the shop will open in Valley Junction on Tuesday, Aug. 6 with the same owners, phone number and services.
Established in 1980, the photo shop is owned by Steve and Marianne Alexander. The phone number is (515) 288-6888.
Alexander's offers cameras and accessories; studio services such as portraits and insurance documentation; location shooting at weddings, conventions and reunions; and consulting and instruction.
