Police Seek Public's Help in Identifying Prescription Drug Fraud Suspect

West Des Moines police are seeking a woman as a possible suspect in several cases of prescription drug fraud.

The West Des Moines Police Department is asking for the public's help in identifying a woman who is a possible suspect in several prescription fraud cases, according to a news release from Lt. Jim Barrett.

Several cases of altered prescriptions have been submitted to metro area pharmacies in recent weeks, including three incidents in West Des Moines, Barrett said.

Police said the suspect is described as a white woman in her early 20; she is about 5’5” tall and weighs about 180 pounds with dark brown hair.

Polk County Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those involved in this incident.
