The gravel portion of the trail around the back side of Blue Heron Lake in Raccoon River Park, 2500 Grand Avenue, in West Des Moines has opened back up after being temporarily closed over the weekend due to flooding. The dog park has also been re-opened. At this time, no park facilities are closed. For more information, call the Parks & Recreation Department at 515-222-3444.
