The performance, based on Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting, will involve the disciples talking about their roles after they have been told that one of them will betray Jesus Christ. Each disciple will conclude his talk by asking “Is it I?”
Fifteen actors are involved in this year’s performance. Other performances this season have taken place in Des Moines and Urbandale. This is the 44th season for the Last Supper Drama; highlights of previous seasons include performances at Hilton Coliseum in Ames and in Nashville, TN.
