Sci Fi/Fantasy Author Book Signing at Jordan Creek Barnes & Noble Aug. 17

When you're learning to heal big, dangerous alien creatures, school...   is a different kind of animal!                 

Author Christian Schoon will be on hand to meet the public
and sign copies of his new science fiction/fantasy novel Zenn Scarlett on
Saturday, 8/17 at the Jordan Creek Barnes & Noble in Des Moines.  Fans of otherworldly adventure and exotic
alien life forms are invited to drop by. A portion of book sale proceeds from
the event will be donated to area animal welfare organizations.

Dr. Temple Grandin (Animals in Translation) says of the
novel: “All future veterinarians will want to read Zenn Scarlett and her
adventures with veterinary medicine on alien animals.” The Des Moines
Register’s Kyle Munson says “author Christian Schoon is becoming an
interplanetary James Herriot: All Creatures Great and Small meets The Martian
Chronicles.”
