Senate District 22 Special Election: Where to Vote in Waukee, West Des Moines, Clive and Windsor Heights
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in Tuesday's special election.

Both candidates in Tuesday’s special Senate District 22 election say they’re concentrating on early voting through absentee ballots as part of their strategy to capture the open seat, but voters can also cast ballots the traditional way at polls.
Democrat Desmund Adams and Republican Charles Schneider are seeking the seat. Adams has been campaigning for about 20 months, Schneider for one. He was nominated by Republicans to replace Sen. Pat Ward on the ballot after she lost her months-long bout with breast cancer in mid-October.
Senate District 22 includes precincts in Waukee, West Des Moines, Clive and Windsor Heights.
Polls open at 7 a.m. and close at 9 p.m., the same schedule as for regular elections.
