She Allegedly Smacks Him for Talking Smack About Migraines: West Des Moines Police Blotter
Woman reportedly admitted she "punched" her friend's husband in the face, but said it was "not a big deal."

A West Des Moines woman was charged with simple assault earlier this week after she allegedly punched her friend’s husband because he reportedly made rude comments about her migraine headaches.
Shalee Danae Jones, 30, told West Des Moines Police Officer Aaron Swenson that “my friend’s husband got mouthy with me, so I let him have it.”
The woman explained she “punched him” in the face, but not hard. She said the victim was “out of line” with his comments and it was “not a big deal,” Swenson reported.
While Swenson was questioning Jones, Officer Amanda St. George was at Legends bar, 640 S. 50th St., where the alleged assault occurred about 10 p.m. Sunday. The alleged victim said he wanted the woman charged, according to the report.
