Spring Forward: When Does Daylight Saving Time Begin in 2013?
What will you do with an extra hour of daylight? We have some ideas.

Daylight Saving Time officially begins at 2 a.m. Sunday. The time automatically changes on many cell phones and elecontric gadgets, but on older devices, you’ll have to do it the old-fashioned way: Move your clocks ahead one hour.
Yes, you’ll theoretically “lose” an hour of sleep. But youll gain an hour of daylight.
Here are a couple of ideas to consider now that the days are longer. Add your suggestions in the comments.
Start exercising outside. An extra hour of daylight at the end of the day gives you time for a bike ride of walk. The City/Campus trail is paved. For a more pastoral workout– and when there’s snow underfoot, more rigorous – try the trail around Blue Heron Lake at Raccoon River Park.
Plant some things in your garden. Yes, it’s too soon for plants, but not too early to start planning garden decor. Sort through the garden sculptures at Aokay Antiques/Atomicblond Midcentury Modern Gallery Loft.
