Super-Sized Casey's Store About To Open In Valley Junction
A new convenience store with 14 gas pumps is opening at a corner where a laundromat sat vacant for years.
After months of construction and rain delays a new Casey's General Store is close to opening in West Des Moines.
The store is located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Grand Avenue and First Street. Previously the site housed a former laundromat and the now demolished building sat empty for several years.
Workers on Monday were installing metal canopies over the store's 14 gas pumps.
