Target Across From Valley West Mall Remodeled, Adds Groceries

The at 1800 Valley West Drive across from has been remodeled to give more space to grocery sales, the Des Moines Register reports.

The SuperTarget store at 5405 Mills Civic Pkwy. at West Glen already has a grocery department.

About 10,000 square feet at the remodeled Target is now dedicated to fresh foods including produce, packaged meats and baked goods, in addition to expanded frozen foods, according to the Register.

The store is the same size and departments were shifted to make room for the new items, the paper said. In addition, the remodeled store has improved beauty, home and shoe departments.
