Our purpose is to
celebrate the rich history of the Valley Junction neighborhood. “Taste
of Junction, Inc. will host a weekend of family events. Advancing
the awareness and preservation of the diverse cultures of Valley Junction
residents.

Junction Neighborhood Reunion Street
Festival
Friday August 30, 2013 at the Railroad Park
Pavilion located on 5th & Railroad. The festivities will
include dancers, food and craft vendors, and live music performed by local band
“Sumpin Doo”. Event time 5pm-10 pm.

The
Junction Speaks
Saturday August 31, 2013 will be at the newly
constructed Valley Community Center located at 4444 Fuller Rd where we will present the
crown jewel “The Junction Speaks” sharing
the rich history of the residents of Valley Junction in different forms of
media, slide shows, live panel discussion, pictures, and interviews. We will
conclude the reunion with a contemporary interdenominational worship &
praise. Event time: 12 pm-6 pm.
