Thong Underwear, Pants Reported Stolen from Apartment Complex Laundry
Victim was encouraged to brief the management and encourage others who may have had similar thefts to call West Des Moines police.

A 24-year-old resident of a West Des Moines apartment complex told police that about 10 pair of thong underwear and other clothing items, all pants, were stolen from the dryer in a common laundry room early Tuesday morning.
She said she switched her laundry from the washer to the dryer about 6 a.m., then found them missing when she returned to the laundry room about 7:15 to collect them, according to a report on file at the West Des Moines Police Department.
Among the missing items were three pair yoga pants, four pair Big Star-brand jeans, one pair jean shorts and a bright yellow workout shirt.

The apartment complex is located in the 1800 block of Bennett Drive. In his report, Officer Dan Wade said he encouraged the victim to work with the complex management to determine if other tenants had similar complaints.
