Unique Poster Celebrates Historic Valley Junction's 25th Anniversary: In Case You Missed It
Local photographer developed special poster to help the historic district celebrate its silver anniversary

Local photographer Amanda Pelzer, owner of AJP Letter Photography partnered with the (HVJF) to develop an exclusive poster for HVJF's 25th anniversary. The poster features photographs from around the historic district that look like letters. The photographs spell out "Historic Valley Junction," and are a fundraiser for the foundation.
Jim Miller, Executive Director of HVJF said, "Everything about this poster celebrates the spirit of Valley Junction. This district truly is at the intersection of hip and history, and this poster is a testament to that."
Posters are on sale at the Historic Valley Junction Foundation office at 137 Fifth Street in West Des Moines. In honor of the 25th anniversary, posters cost $25, and all proceeds will go to the Historic Valley Junction Foundation. HVJF, a non-profit organization, focuses on historic preservation, economic development, and business growth.
