The new performing arts wing of West Des Moines Valley High School is taking shape. Construction will continue throughout the school year, with completion expected in the summer of 2014.
As other remodeling projects continue, teachers and administrators are making do with temporary quarters.
Activities Director Brad Rose was temporarily working from the "sewing room," but that will change before Tuesday, Aug. 20, the beginning of the 2013-14 school year for West Des Moines Community Schools.
