Walnut Creek Campus Programs Highlighted in School’s Workshop Meeting
Alternative campus opened in 1995 and serves 200 students.

From a news release:
The West Des Moines Community Schools Board of Education will hold a workshop and regular meeting at the new Walnut Creek Campus location tonight. The workshop will provide an opportunity for the school’s students, staff and administration to highlight its learning environment, instruction, class offerings and philosophy.
Walnut Creek Campus opened in 1995 and served 120 students, according to the district’s web site. It currently has a staff of 29 employees who serve more than 200 students.

The student population reflects the economic diversity of our communities, with students coming from all areas of the district, as well as the greater Des Moines area.
