UPDATE: Wandering West Des Moines Boy Reunited With Parents
Boy found about 3:30 a.m. unable to tell police anything about his identity.

West Des Moines police have concluded their investigation into the circumstances surrounding a young boy wandering around early this morning in a busy area along 50th Street. He has been reunited with his parents.
The boy's father said he woke up and found his 9-year-old son missing and called police. Police were able to tell him the boy had been found and had been taken to a local shelter until his parents oculd be located.

A young boy West Des Moines police found wandering early this morning in the 800 block of 50th Street is being reunited with his parents, police spokesman Lt. Jim Barrett said.
Authorities were dispatched to the area about 3:30 a.m., but were unable to communicate with him about his identity, his parents’ identity or where he lived. He was barefooted, wearing a short and shirts, and was carrying a Buzz Lightyear doll and a Woody doll. Both are characters from the movie “Toy Story.”
Barrett said the boy, who appeared to be about 5, apparently walked away from his home. Authorities put out a press release about 7 asking for the public's help in identifying the boy.

Investigating officers were still interviewing the boy's parents.
