WDMCC: A Section Of 60th Street Will Be Closed To Traffic This Weekend

Construction crews will close 60th Street between University Avenue and Westown Parkway in West Des Moines to lay asphalt and paint new traffic lines. The closure will take place at 12:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 9. Weather permitting, the road will reopen to traffic at 6 a.m. on Monday, October 11.

Large message boards will be placed on 60th Street to alert the general public of the closure. The attached map shows the location of the closure.
