The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for parts of Dallas County and Polk County.
According to the warning, strong thunderstorms are moving southeast through our area.
The storm system includes the possibility of 60 mph winds and quarter-sized hail. Vehicle damage and wind damage to windows, siding, and trees is possible.
The warning expires at 10 p.m.
