Weekend Planner: Step Back in Time During Valley Junction's Antique Jamboree
The event, which will be held Sunday, will have over 100 antique dealers from across the Midwest displaying a wide array of antiques

Step back in time this weekend and enjoy bagging some old treasures from the past.
Historic Valley Junction in West Des Moines will hold its Summer Antique Jamboree on Sunday, June 9, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Jamboree will be held in the Fifth Street area of Valley Junction.
The Antique Jamboree is one of the largest outdoor antique shows in the Midwest. Admission and parking are free to the public.
The event will have over 100 antique dealers from across the Midwest displaying a wide array of antiques, including furniture, primitives, architectural, vintage clothing, jewelry, linens and quilts, glassware, stoneware, textiles, toys and much more. Prepared food vendors will also be on site.
But the summer fun won't stop there. Be sure to mark your calendars for these upcoming Valley Junction events:
Farmers Market/Music In The Junction: Every Thursday from 4-8 p.m. (Music will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m.)
Justin Roberts & the Not Ready For Naptime Players: June 22
- Performances at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
- Show will be held on Historic Bennett School lawn, 4105 Fuller Rd.
