Olson-Larsen Galleries in West Des Moines has extended its Annual Small Works Show and exhibits featuring the work of Jeanine Coupe Ryding and Brian Roberts, until Feb. 2.
A contemporary gallery representing 70 full-time Midwest artists, Olson-Larsen was founded in 1979 and is located in Historic Valley Junction. Artists work in a wide range of two- and three-dimensional media. The gallery’s inventory of art includes paintings, photography, sculpture, various types of prints, and mixed media work.
In the current exhibits, Ryding is offering a collection of prints with abstract images derived from nature and from human tools.
Roberts’ stoneware sculptures reference the familiar architectural icons of the farm - silos, grain elevators, barns and sheds.
