West Des Moines-Based Kum & Go Names New Executive

Marty Roush is the convenience store company's division vice president in charge of operations.

A news release:

Kum & Go President and CEO Kyle J. Krause today announced that Marty Roush has been named Division Vice President, Operations, for the company’s south division.

In his role at Kum & Go, Roush will oversee the operations in 158 stores in Missouri, Arkansas and Oklahoma. This includes managing the sales, safety protocol and talent development in the stores across the region.

Roush joins Kum & Go from Target Corporation, where he spent the last 18 years. He most recently led operations for Target stores in Kansas, Missouri, Utah and Idaho.

“Marty’s retail industry expertise and passion for service excellence are tremendous assets as we continue to grow the company,” said Krause. “He understands what it takes for a business to flourish in a competitive market. We’re very pleased to welcome him aboard.”

A graduate of Iowa State University, Roush received his degree in marketing. Along with his wife and two children, Roush will relocate to the Des Moines area.
