West Des Moines Firefighters Wear Pink Ribbons to Fight Breast Cancer
Firefighters sold T-shirts to raise money during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The West Des Moines Association of Professional Firefighters Local 3586 just completed a fundraising campaign selling T-shirts for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
During the month of Octoberm the West Des Moines Fire and EMS Departments wore T-shirts with pink accents on duty with the words "Breast Cancer Awareness."
The duty shirts were sold to members of the departments, as well as friends and family with the proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Over the course of the month over 150 shirts were sold with proceeds totaling $310.
