West Des Moines KCCI Project Community: Hope For Families Fundraiser For Children And Families Of Iowa Raises Over $94

KCCI’s Project CommUNITY: Hope for Families presented a dynamic on-air fundraiser in support of CFI on Wednesday, May 27. This event provided a wonderful opportunity for community education on the vast number of programs that CFI provides for Iowans in need as well as the large cost of operations to administer all these programs. KCCI’s event raised over $94,580 to help offset current deficits and increased operational expenses which have been heightened by the need to convert many services to remote operations during the pandemic.

Sammons Financial Group generously sponsored this event with a gift of $10,000 and was followed with matching gifts of $1,000 provided by SHAZAM and Fareway Stores. We are humbled and thank all of those that generously made contributions during KCCI’s event – we cannot thank you enough!!
