West Des Moines Library's Search for New Director Ends
Darryl Eschete, who led the Chippewa Falls, WI, library since 2010, will start his new job in West Des Moines on April 16.
Darryl Eschete has been named the new director of the West Des Moines Public Library, according to a news release issued Thursday by the city of West Des Moines.

Eschete has served as the director of Chippewa Falls, WI, library since February 2010. He has also served as department supervisor of reference and genealogy for Terrebonne Parish Library in Houma, LA.

Eschete obtained his master of library and information science degree from the Louisiana State University School of Library and Information Science in Baton Rouge.
He will start his employment with the library on April 16. He replaces Ray Vignovich, who was library director for 20 years.
